Radio Interview with AM 774

Radio AM 774

I was recently asked to do a live interview on a bilingual radio station,  AM 774, to talk about building restoration in China. This came about due to one of the presenters, Bruce Connolley, finding me through David Ben Kay and my article I wrote on David and his work in 798.

We discuss a range of topics; from Beijing’s hutongs to the current state of the building restoration industry in China, and how it compares to other countries. I also mention a few good examples of building preservation and restoration, including Laurence Brahm’s courtyard projects in the Dongsi area.
